The BONIFANTES Boys’ Choir was founded in the year 1999 and has won a place among the cream of the choir ensembles in the Czech Republic in its short life. Talented boys from the age of 4 to 18 years of age work in seven departments of the singing school known as “Schola cantorum BONIFANTES”. Almost 100 boys visit the concert department alone and the choir takes part in upto 100 concerts and performances each year.
Among the successes achieved so far are a number of concert tours (Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Italy, Denmark and USA) and performances in operas (G.Bizet - Carmen, G.Puccini – Tosca, G. Rossini – Il barbiere di Siviglia) and films (Napoleon). The choir performs in harmony with Czech orchestras on an annual basis (J. Jirásek – Kouzlo českých Vánoc, A.L.Webber - Requiem, V.Wimmer - Apel svědomí, L.Cherubini - Missa solemnis, C. Orff – Carmina Burana). Over the past three years of its activity, the choir has taken part in six international competitions (Iuventus Mundi Cantat – Festa Musicale Olomouc 2x, Prague Days of Choral Singing "Praga Cantat", Musica Sacra Praga,
B. Martinů International Competition, European Festival for youth people in Neerpelt), at which it has been awarded with eight gold and two silver medals, two titles of competition prize-winner, and a prize for outstanding conducting performance for the choirmaster.
The choir ended its 4th concert season with participation in the prestigious international music festival known as “Smetana’s Litomyšl”. The 5th season ended with 1st prize “CUM LAUDE” at the European Choir Festival in Neerpelt and the title of overall winner at the Festival of Song 2004 in Olomouc ahead of another 159 competitors. Among the recordings made by the choir is the world premier of the “Missa solemnis L. Cherubini” mass, which was recorded along with the Chamber Philharmonic Pardubice under the guidance of conductor Douglas Bostock. Artistic guidance is provided to the BONIFANTES Boys’ Choir by Jan Míšek.

Koncertní sbor se intenzivně připravuje na Slavnostní koncert k 10. výročí založení, kde mimo jiné zazní i cyklus O Káče a s Káčou skladatele Jana Vičara, který si s koncertním sborem zazpívá i nejstarší přípravné oddělení. Podívejte se na fotografie ze společné zkoušky.

V příjemném duchu se uskutečnila ve čtvrtek oslava desátého výročí založení chlapeckého sboru Bonifantes. Sukova síň Domu hudby byla zaplněna téměř do posledního místa.
Dirigent Jan Míšek a zpěvák František Valenta byli hosty moderátorky Jitky Slezákové v pořadu Máme hosty na vlnách Českého rozhlasu Pardubice. Poslechněte si záznam povídání o deseti letech činnosti Bonifantů. 
Chlapecký sbor Bonifantes slaví narozeniny. Na svém koncertě s Komorní filharmonií Pardubice se ohlédne za svou desetiletou historií. 
Chlapecký sbor BONIFANTES slaví 10. výročí svého založení. Bonifanti vystoupí společně s Komorní filharmonií Pardubice. Pod taktovkou svého zakladatele a dirigenta Jana Míška provedou tři velká díla.
